Levi’s® Stadium and the San Francisco 49ers SAP Performance Facility will host the third annual 49ers Rush presented by SUBWAY®, which includes a 4.9K run, a 2-mile Junior Rush run, and a 4.9K endurance Challenge, on Sunday, October 30th. This year’s event will also include a fitness expo the day before on Saturday, October 29th. Participants will have the opportunity to donate to Special Olympics Northern California and Special Olympics athletes will participate in the events as well as congratulate participants by awarding medals. The goal of 49ers Rush presented by SUBWAY® is to motivate fans to engage in a fun, yet challenging physical fitness event by providing them with the opportunity to train like members of the 49ers. Each 49ers Rush participant will receive an event t-shirt and a finisher’s medallion presented by SUBWAY® restaurants. Challenge participants will also receive an additional prize, one befitting of the toughest team members. Performance awards will be presented to the first, second and third male and female overall finishers in each event.
The 4.9k Stadium Run will take place on both the 49ers SAP Performance Facility and Levi's® Stadium, finishing triumphantly on the stadium's field.
The Challenge covers a 4.9k obstacle course where participants must conquer hundreds of stairs, ramps, tire flips, back pedals, sprints, high steps through bungees, combine drills, and bust through padded gauntlets. The races finishes on the field of Levi’s® Stadium.
The Junior Rush 2-Mile is a youth fitness initiative led by 49ers Youth Football. Youth from 8 to 12 years old are encouraged to challenge themselves with a 2-mile.
